Mikel Narbaiza

Mikel is a Director at the Strategic Initiatives at TechnoServe. He leads the advisory work in the Commercial Agriculture for Smallholders and Agribusinesses (CASA) and CASA Plus programs, funded by FCDO, FMO and BII. His focus is to design and implement interventions that unlock financing into climate resilient and smallholder farmer inclusive agriculture, closely working with a number of DFIs, impact investors, financial institutions and donors across Africa. He is running a number of interventions specifically in Tanzania. Prior to joining TechnoServe in 2021, he worked as a Strategy Manager at One Acre Fund. He also spent four years as a strategy consultant at The Boston Consulting Group and Strategy& (PwC). During that time, he advised private equity funds and impact-oriented clients across a variety of sectors mostly on growth strategies in Europe and the United States. He holds an MBA at INSEAD.
