Doxa Mbapila

Doxa Mbapila, Principal Partner and Head of Endoxa Law’s Corporate Practice. She advises clients in Tanzania and East Africa on a broad range of domestic and international corporate matters, including investment, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, exchange traded funds, capital market transactions including initial public offerings (IPOs), private placements, corporate bonds and sukuks, banking and finance and fintech. Her experience includes advising foreign commercial and impact investors investing in Tanzania via debt, equity and other emerging funding structures.

Doxa has a BA Honors (Carleton University, Canada), LLB Honors in Law (Cardiff University, UK) and LLM International Economic Law with Distinction (Warwick University, UK). She is also an advocate of the Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania.  Prior to joining Endoxa, Doxa spent 15 years heading the legal and company secretarial departments of multinational companies like Citibank Tanzania, Stanbic Tanzania, NBC and Ecobank Tanzania.
