Lillian Secelela Madeje is a dynamic entrepreneur, innovation strategist, and ecosystem builder with over 15 years of experience at the intersection of human capital, technology, and organizational development. She is the founder and co-founder of ventures including Ekihya Consulting, which supports businesses in streamlining operations; Bits & Bytes, Tanzania’s pioneering experiential tech and innovation conference; and Niajiri Platform, a HR tech platform that optimizes recruitment in providing employers with talent while upskilling career seekers for the marketplace that has over 57,000 users and growing. 

Her consulting work spans collaborations with global organizations such as IDEO.org, WFP, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and HIVOS, and she has moderated high-profile forums attended by African leaders and policymakers. Lillian is known for her qualitative research expertise, impactful facilitation in human-centered design, and contributions to entrepreneurship and skills development across Africa. She serves on several boards, including Majico and Digital Opportunity Trust Tanzania, and was a curator for the World Economic Forum's Global Shapers Dar es Salaam Hub and  Sherwood Memorial from her alma mater Park UNiversity recipient for her civic engagement. She holds a BA in International Business and Marketing, an MBA from the African Leadership University School of Business, and has an Executive Diploma in Development Practices and Policy at the Geneva Graduate Institute, with a thesis focused on labor market dynamics and online skilling in developing countries.
