
Ezra Musoke
Ezra Musoke, Managing Director for SEAF-East Africa, is a seasoned SME investment professional with extensive experience in East Africa. Over the years, he has played a pivotal role in financing and supporting SMEs in Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania. Prior to joining SEAF, Ezra held key investment roles at GroFin, InReturn Capital, and Grassroots Business Fund. He was instrumental in establishing GroFin’s operations in Uganda and later led the launch of its Tanzania office before later moving on to serve as a managing partner with InReturn Capital. During this period, he deepened his expertise in SME investing, successfully closing and exiting over 30 deals.
Beyond East Africa, Ezra has contributed to investments across Nigeria, Ghana, and South Africa through his work on the finance committees of GroFin and InReturn Capital. He holds a BA from Makerere University, two post-graduate diplomas in Financial Management and Banking, and a master’s in management studies (Financial Management) from the Uganda Management Institute. Additionally, he has earned certifications in Operational Risk from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and Climate Risk, Valuation, and Investing from the CFA Institute.
